The challenge
PedalMarket needed a commerce base to enter the specialist cycling market in Chile. We know that market from the Giant and Liv Cycling work. The store had to fit Chilean buying habits: an incentive to pick up in store, a local payment stack, and categories arranged the way Chilean cyclists shop rather than the way a catalogue export arrives.
What we built
We built on Shopify with Chilean conventions. Pickup in store comes with a 10% discount ('Retira en tienda, 10% OFF'), MercadoPago Chile handles payment, and the catalogue has four categories: bikes, helmets, accessories, apparel. It was a full-stack build with the design in Figma. We advised on the Chilean commerce context as we went.

The operator note
By the time PedalMarket came to us we had already built the commerce infrastructure for Giant and Liv in Chile. We knew the Chilean cycling buyer, the competition and the logistics. PedalMarket did not pay for our learning curve, because it was already paid for. The 10% pickup incentive costs margin on every pickup order, the trade for not carrying delivery cost on them.
