SEO, AEO and GEO
Technical SEO, content and structured data for sites that need to be found by people and cited by answer engines, in Colombia, Chile, the USA and Australia. We have built the organic channel for cycling, apparel and specialty retail.
Search is infrastructure, and most online stores treat it as an afterthought. We fix the technical base first: crawlability, Core Web Vitals, schema markup and the duplicate content that faceted navigation produces. Then we build the content layer: category pages that rank for commercial intent, articles tied to real search demand, and local visibility in the cities where your customers search.
The same work now has a second audience. ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI answers cite pages that answer a question directly, carry structured data and were updated recently. We write and mark up content so it can be extracted and cited, and we measure where a brand shows up in AI answers as well as in rankings.
We have ranked cycling stores in Bogotá, specialty food brands in Sydney and B2B marketplaces across Latin America.
We also measure share of voice with Voce, our own evidence tool: how often a brand is mentioned and cited next to its competitors in AI answers, communities and reviews, and whether what is said matches the brand's voice. It is the same evidence our SEO, AEO and GEO work starts from. See Voce on the Tools page.
What we do
- Technical SEO
- Keyword and demand research
- Answer-engine content (AEO)
- Structured data and llms.txt
- AI visibility tracking
- Brand voice and share of voice
How we work
- 01Technical audit
A full crawl of the site: indexability issues, duplicate content sources, Core Web Vitals failures and structured data errors, all listed before we change anything.
- 02Demand and revenue mapping
Keywords and questions ranked by revenue potential rather than volume alone. We map commercial-intent queries to your category architecture and find the gaps competitors already fill.
- 03On-site implementation
Technical fixes, category page rewrites, internal linking, schema markup and answer-first content, run in parallel so rankings move sooner.
- 04Monthly reporting
Rank tracking, organic revenue attribution and AI-answer presence, reported monthly with an explanation of what changed and why.
Tools we use
- Ahrefs
- Google Search Console
- Screaming Frog
- Google Analytics 4
- PageSpeed Insights
- Schema Markup
Questions
How long before we see results from SEO?
Technical fixes can lift rankings within four to eight weeks. New content usually takes three to six months to rank for competitive terms. In the first 90 days we go after the quick wins: low-competition keywords, technical issues suppressing existing rankings, and refreshes of pages that are already indexed.
Do you work on Spanish and English markets at the same time?
Yes. We have run hreflang implementations for multi-market stores, written separate content plans for Colombian and Chilean Spanish, and served several language versions of a site without duplicate-content problems.
How do you handle large Shopify catalogues with faceted navigation?
Faceted navigation is the biggest source of duplicate content and wasted crawl budget in e-commerce. We combine canonical tags, noindex directives and parameter rules so Google crawls and indexes the pages that matter and ignores the thousands of filter combinations that dilute authority.
What is AEO and GEO, and do we need them?
AEO (answer-engine optimisation) is making pages that AI assistants and Google's AI answers can extract and cite: a direct answer at the top, questions as headings, FAQ and article schema, a recent update date. GEO (generative-engine optimisation) is the same discipline measured across ChatGPT, Perplexity and similar engines. If your customers ask an assistant before they search, you need both. We run both on this site.
Do you offer a one-off audit or only ongoing work?
Both. A standalone technical audit is a fixed-price engagement that ends in a prioritised action plan your team can run. Ongoing retainers cover execution, content production and monthly reporting. Many clients start with the audit and continue once they see the size of the opportunity.
What is share of voice, and how do you measure it?
Share of voice is the part of the conversation about your category that mentions you: in Google results, in AI answers, in communities and reviews. We measure it with Voce, which collects what customers and answer engines say about a brand and its competitors from public sources and official APIs, never from behind logins. The report shows where you are cited, where competitors are cited instead, and whether the way you are described matches your brand voice. It becomes the baseline for the SEO, AEO and GEO work and the monthly check on whether it moved.
