01

The challenge

CicloSpecial has 38 years of technical expertise, a devoted community and physical stores in Medellín and Barranquilla. Awareness was never the issue. The work was moving a workshop-quality experience online without losing the specialist authority that defines the brand, and keeping stock accurate across two locations in real time.

02

What we built

We built a Shopify store that respects the technical positioning: component-level detail, professional fitting information and a category structure that follows how a serious cyclist shops, by discipline, component group and compatibility. Inventory syncs in real time from both shops so online stock matches the shelf. WhatsApp connects shoppers to the shop's specialists, national shipping is in place, and the in-store café and community events are part of the story.

The operator note

CicloSpecial has been earning cyclists' trust since 1982. Our job was to keep that trust intact by making sure the online store did not feel like a generic sporting goods shop. We know what cycling specialists stock and why, and how experienced riders move through a component catalogue. That knowledge shaped every category and every product description standard we put in place.
