The challenge
BlackCycling entered Colombian cycling apparel with a clear position: monochrome, performance-first and premium for the local market. The store had to compete with established apparel players while keeping that editorial identity. Colombian cycling buyers know the difference between generic activewear and purpose-built kit, and the site had to speak to them.
What we built
We built a Shopify store around the brand's all-black identity, with a clean collection structure (men's and women's jerseys and shorts) and the promotional mechanics for seasonal sales events wired into the store from day one. MercadoPago handles payments and Klaviyo runs the email automation. Mobile came first in every layout decision.

The operator note
We sell cycling apparel ourselves through Cyclewear, so we know this buyer at product level: which fabrics they recognise, which brand names they trust and which price points read as quality rather than discount. That shaped the product copy standards and the collection structure. A standard Shopify apparel template would have reached a different, less demanding customer.
